Fightback Invitational

Fight Back Invitational II brings the jiu-jitsu community together to compete, connect, and support survivors of domestic violence.

Hosted in Boston on October 11, 2026, the event builds on the inaugural Fight Back Invitational, a women’s jiu-jitsu event that raised more than $7,500 for Abby’s House. That response helped inspire the creation of the Fight Back Foundation, now a 501(c)(3) organization focused on supporting the safety, autonomy, and well-being of women and children through education, prevention-based initiatives, athletics, and community resources.

This year, proceeds benefit Casa Myrna, which provides services and support to survivors of domestic violence in Massachusetts.

The event includes a competitive jiu-jitsu card featuring women from the regional grappling community, with currently announced matchups including Destiny Patnode vs. Erin Oakey, Ziqin Wong vs. Gianna Pannese, and Christine Brothwell vs. Sarah Hunt.

Whether you compete, attend, donate, or simply help spread the word, Fight Back Invitational II offers the martial arts community an opportunity to use its platform in support of survivors and organizations doing this work every day.
